-top of page-The Bible's Number 11-- Warnings, judgments, confusion, notices, and information - It is no coincidence that the number of 11 is a number associated with different types of information code numbers we began using with our telephone systems years ago. The most often used of these numbers is 411 for general information; 611 for service or questions; and 911 for emergency information and calling for help. We find the number 11 in the Bible used for some of the same reasons and it is often used for the purpose of God warning us in various ways not to turn from him, and if we do, the consequences that may happen.
We also find the number of 11 associated with things that are not right and which need to be corrected - a good example of this is the 11 disciples who are missing the 12th because one has fallen away. You will find the number 11 in the Bible's text associated with statements of concern or announcement or warning. In Matthew 20:6 it says "And about the eleventh hour went out and found others standing around; and he *said to them, 'Why have you been standing here idle all day long?'. Mrk 16:14 Afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart...".
Genesis 11, the 11th chapter of the Bible tells us the story of the
Tower of Babel and in verse 11:9 (related to 911) we find God created
a calamity because the people were turning from him - Genesis 11:9 Therefore
its name was called Babel, because there
the LORD confused the language of the whole earth; and
from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of the whole
earth.
Other chapter 11s follow the same pattern as we can see in Leviticus
chapter 11 which appears to have been
placed intentionally as the 101st (11) chapter of the Bible. This
entire chapter is that of both a warning and instructions to live by
regarding the separation of the clean from the unclean. Verse two summarizes
the chapter: Lev 11:2 "Speak
to the sons of Israel, saying, 'These are the creatures which you
may eat from all the animals that are on the earth.
The Bible's Number 12 -- Organizational perfection, laws, regulations, rules, courts, justice, 12 jurors... It seems the number 12 is related to things that are good and right and done well and done according to God's ordinances. Things established by God as the way things are to be done. Twelve tribes, twelve thrones, twelve disciples, twelve months of a year, twelve hours for day and twelve hours for night.... Twelve is also related to wisdom, authority and the decision we must make about salvation.
I suspect 12 is related to the number three - One is a number for God and two is a number for Jesus and three is a perfect number of the trinity. The third book of the Bible, Leviticus, is about the holiness and righteousness of God. Twelve can be seen as 1+2=3 and it seems to fit that 12 being a number of organizational perfection and justice is likely directly related.
Some verse examples for number 12 - Exodus 28:21 "The
stones shall be according to the names of the sons of Israel: twelve,
according to their names; they shall be like the engravings of a
seal, each according
to his name for the twelve tribes". This 21st verse (another number
of perfection and salvation- 7+7+7), associates these twelve sons of
Israel with a seal or sign of authority. We also see this in Exodus 39
verse 14 -"The stones were corresponding
to the names of the sons of Israel; they were twelve, corresponding
to their names, engraved with the engravings of a signet, each with
its name for the twelve tribes". In 1Kings 4:7 we see
"Solomon had twelve deputies over all Israel, who provided for the king
and his household; each man had to provide for a month in the year".
In the numeric map we find these themes for 12
as well. Job 12:12 "Wisdom is with aged men, With long life is understanding". In the
following verse we might associate the number 12 in the chapter and verse
with time, or hours in a day, or with the spirit of God -
Luke 12:12 "for the Holy Spirit will teach
you in that very hour what you ought to say".
There are many twelve's in the Bible but one of the most interesting is
associated with Jesus, the Tree of Life -
Revelation 22:2 in the middle of its street.
On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve
kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the
tree were for the healing of the nations".
The Bible's Number 13 -- The spirit of God, spiritual things, or our inability to understand God. Many think of 1st Corinthians 13, the love chapter, when they think of number 13 and naturally imagine 13 is related to love but in western culture we more naturally think of number thirteen as an "unlucky" number and that is actually a closer description.
When not seen in relationship to spiritual things we often see number thirteen associated with man's inability to grasp God's laws and our constant desire to do things our own way. It would make sense it is considered a number of bad luck but luck does not have anything to do with how God's laws work. We should think of number 13 as being associated with our inability on a consistent basis to get things right.
Man's dim understanding - 1Corinthians 13:11-12 "When
I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child,
reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.
v12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I
know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully
known".
An example of number 13 in text that reveals how man's ways are not
God's ways - Ester 3:13 "Letters
were sent by couriers to all the king's provinces to destroy, to kill
and to annihilate all the Jews, ... in
one day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the
month Adar, and to seize their possessions as plunder".
We find the numeric map also reveals this theme to number
13 - Jeremiah 6:13 "For from the least
of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone
is greedy for gain, And from the prophet even to the priest
Everyone deals falsely" and Matthew 6:13 "And
do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil...".

The Bible's Number 14 -- Jesus our Great High Priest, King and Savior of the World.
#14 is a very important number to be aware of as it is the number of passover and of Jesus, our Great High Priest, King and Savior of the World (1John 4:14). Matthew chapter one which introduces Jesus to the Jews, associates Jesus with number 14 three times. Matt 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the deportation to Babylon to the Messiah, fourteen generations.
Number 14 is, in the same way as Passover, the number of our great high priest, Jesus, the redeemer and savoir. -- I have lots of examples of number 14s being associated with Jesus but this like referenced verse set is one of the strongest demonstrations of this number/theme relationship (like referenced verses have common themes running through them).
These are 17 of the Bible’s 45 verses with reference of 4:14. The other’s point to Jesus as well, but in a bit less obvious ways.
- Exodus 4:14 …the anger of the LORD burned against Moses...
- Deuteronomy 4:14 "The LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments...
- Joshua 4:14 On that day the LORD exalted Joshua...
- Judges 4:14 "...this is the day...the LORD has given Sisera into your hands...the LORD has gone out before you."...
- Ruth 4:14 "Blessed is the LORD who has not left you without a redeemer today...
- Ecclesiastes 4:14 … he has come out of prison to become king, even though he was born poor in his kingdom.
- Ezekiel 4:14 ..."Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I have never been defiled..."
- Zechariah 4:14 ..."…the two anointed ones who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth."
- Mark 4:14 "The sower sows the word.
- Luke 4:14 … Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread...
- John 4:14 …whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst;..."
- 2Corinthians 4:14 ...He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus....
- Galatians 4:14 ... you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus
- 1Thessalonians 4:14 … if we believe that Jesus died and rose again...
- Hebrews 4:14 ...we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God...
- 1Peter 4:14 … you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory...
- 1John 4:14 We have seen and testify...the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
A few other of my favorite #14 related evidences:
- Leviticus 23:5 'In the first month, on
the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the LORD'S Passover.
- Revelation 14:14 ...behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man,....
- Isaiah 14:14 (Satan, wanting to be like Jesus) '...I will make myself like the Most High.'
- Mark 14:14 ...'The Teacher says, "Where
is My guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?'"
John 14:14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. - Isaiah 8:1 (the Bible's 14,014th verse) O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth...
The Bible's Number 15 -- being instructed in God's ways - statutes/covenants, blessings/curses
Number 15 is about god and others making known to us--telling--instructing--commanding God's will for our lives. Fifteen can be associated in a negative way referring to those who declare or instruct falsely about God's ways. In some cases we find examples of those going against God's instructions or following them. Below are some hyper 15 verse examples:
• Lev 15:15 … So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf before
the LORD…
• Num 15:15 …there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who
sojourns with you…
• Deu 15:15 …You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of
Egypt…
• 1Sam 15:15 …the people spared the best of the sheep and oxen…but the
rest we have utterly destroyed."
• 2Sam 15:15 …your servants are ready to do whatever my lord the king
chooses."
• 2Kin 15:15 …the rest of the acts of Shallum… are written in the Book
of the Chronicles…
• 1Chr 15:15 The sons of the Levites carried the ark…according to the
word of the LORD.
• Matt 15:15 Peter said to Him, "Explain the parable to us."
• John 15:15 …all things that I have heard from My Father I have made
known to you.
• Act 15:15 With this the words of the Prophets agree, just as it is
written,
• Rom 15:15 But I have written very boldly to you…
• 1Cor 15:15 …Moreover we are even found {to be} false witnesses of God…
To further confirm this definition we find 15 "God said" statements in the Bible. In these 15 statements God is instructing us through his word that tells us 15 times when he actually spoke declaring or giving us instruction:
• Gen 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light"
• Gen 1:6 Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of
the waters…"
• Gen 1:9 Then God said, "Let the waters below the heavens be gathered
into one place"
• Gen 1:11 Then God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation…
• Gen 1:14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of
the heavens..
• Gen 1:20 Then God said, "Let the waters teem with swarms of living
creatures, and let birds fly…"
• Gen 1:24 Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures
after their kind…
• Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image… Gen 1:29
Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed…it
shall be food for you;
• Gen 6:13 Then God said, "The end of all flesh has come before
Me…I am about to destroy them...
• Gen 17:15 Then God said, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah
{shall be} her name.
• Gen 20:6 Then God said "Yes, I know that in the integrity of your
heart…I also kept you from sinning against Me…
• Gen 35:1 Then God said to Jacob, "Arise, go up to Bethel and live
there…
• Exo 34:10 Then God said, "Behold, I am going to make a covenant…I
will perform miracles…
• Jonah 4:9 Then God said, "Do you have good reason to be angry…

The Bible's Number 16 -- The Godly obedient servants (see 1st 16 verses of Romans 16--16 greet statements for the Godly)
The Bible's Number 17 -- Lifted up and saved as well as thrown down to destruction. The rain of the Flood came down on the 17th day; the ark rested on the 17th day; Jesus was resurrected on the 17th day. Many references throughout the Bible that relate rain and floods with the number 17. Interestingly enough ...Blood is also related to the number 17 which seems to relate Blood with flood.
The Bible's Number 18 -- A number of evil and the opposites of good/God. A number of affliction and suffering. Eighteen is three times six or 6+6+6 and I don't suspect it is coincidence that Revelation 13:18 speaks of the number of the beast Revelation 13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six".
Eighteen is also related to the number of turning around or turning
back which is 180. Same as the degrees in 1/2 a circle. Note in the following
verse that, contains the number 180,000, the reference to restoring a
kingdom. Restoring is the same as turning something back--in the reverse
direction. 2Chronicles 11:1 "Now
when Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah
and Benjamin, 180,000 chosen men who were warriors, to fight
against Israel to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam".
The 180th verses of each book of the Bible are one of the most interesting
sets of verses to present. God's DNA like intersecting numbers of the
numeric map are truly amazing. Note how each of these 180 verses of their
respective books speak of some aspect of turning around. This is just
a sample of the Bible's 180 verses.
- 1Kin 6:1 Now it came about in the four hundred and eightieth year after the sons of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, ....
- Ecc 10:2 A wise man's heart {directs him} toward the right, but the foolish man's heart {directs him} toward the left.
- Eze 10:11 When they moved, they went in {any of} their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.
- Dan 6:12 ... "Did you not sign an injunction that any man who makes a petition to any god or man besides you, O king, for thirty days, is to be cast into the lions' den?" The king replied, "The statement is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which may not be revoked." (note this is the 180th verse of Daniel as well as chapter and verse that adds to 18).
- John 5:14 Afterward Jesus *found him in the temple and said to him, "Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you."
The Bible's Number 19 -- Being convicted of sin, confessing. Consequences of sin.
Number 19 has both a positive and good side as well as a negative and disastrous side, but the number is most often associated with verses and text related to sin, confessing sin or the punishment for sin and judgment of the Lord. Another number closely associated with #19 is #911 which is also about warnings and consequences for turning away from God. Following are examples supporting the theme for #19:
#19 found in verse text
Seven verses contain the word nineteen in the text and four of them are in reference to numbers, names, or counts, and in whose verse text the theme is not immediately obvious. But three of them seem to reveal the consistent theme of sin and consequences of #19.
2Sam 2:30 ...nineteen of David's servants besides Asahel were
missing.
2Kin 25:8 ...the nineteenth year ...a servant of the king of Babylon,
came to Jerusalem.
Jer 52:12 ...the nineteenth year...the captain of the bodyguard...in the service
of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
The powerful 1900 related cross Bible verse numbers:
Some of the most reliable evidence for number themes is found in number sets I cannot contrive. An example of this is in the only three cross Bible verse numbers that end in the number 1900. .
- 1900th - Exo 14:10 ...the Egyptians were marching after them, and they became very frightened; so the sons of Israel cried out to the LORD
- 11900th - 2Chr 32:24 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill; and he prayed to the LORD, and the LORD spoke to him and gave him a sign.
- 19000th - Jer 2:34 "... on your skirts is found The lifeblood of the innocent poor; ... v35 ... I will enter into judgment with you Because you say, 'I have not sinned.'
The Consistent pattern of 19*19 verses:
Following is another full set of verses with a consistent number pattern association with #19. These are all 10 cross Bible verse numbers that both begin and end with the number 19 and speaks of sin and consequences for sin.- 19019 Jer 3:16 "...The ark of the covenant of the LORD.' ...it will not come to mind...nor will they miss it...
- 19119 Jer 6:29 ...In vain the refining goes on, But the wicked are not separated.
- 19219 Jer 10:17 Pick up your bundle from the ground, You who dwell under siege!
- 19319 Jer 15:3 "I will appoint over them four kinds of doom,"...
- 19419 Jer 19:11 ..."Just so will I break this people and this city, ...
- 19519 Jer 23:34 "... I will bring punishment upon that man and his household.
- 19619 Jer 27:22 'They will be carried to Babylon and they will be there until the day I visit them,' ... "
- 19719 Jer 31:27 "...days are coming,"..."when I will sow the house of Israel...with the seed of beast.
- 19819 Jer 34:17 "...You have not obeyed Me ...I will make you a terror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
- 19919 Jer 38:23 '...you yourself will not escape from their hand...this city will be burned with fire.' "
The Bible's Number
20 -- The Expected Messiah - Related to the expectation and
foretelling and looking forward to the return of the messiah, Jesus
Christ. It
appears often to be a direct reference to Jesus body but I believe
it is more appropriately thought of as related to the redeemer.
The Bible's Number 21 -- Telling of the coming of the Lord, teaching, preaching. He will give life or judgment, what is due each person - Vengeance, life, death. Jesus the King will return and take his throne. #21 speaks of his return.
Some major verses of support for the 21 theme
- Waiting for the Lord's return - Exo 12:18 'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening.
- A picture of the return of the Lord - Dan 10:13 "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.
- Hag 2:1 On the twenty-first of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet saying,
21 in text
- Exo 21:21 "If, however, he survives a day or two, no vengeance shall be taken; for he is his property.
- 2Kin 24:18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king,..
- 2Chr 36:11 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king.
- Ecc 4:9 Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
- Jer 52:1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king,.

The Bible's Number
22 -- Twenty-Two (supplemental
evidence for #22) is
the number associated with Jesus Christ as God's Suffering Servant.
How do we this is the theme? We learn of God's numbers themes by
examining what numbers are commonly associated with throughout the
Bible. We look for prevailing patterns to help us understand
common themes. One
of the best evidences for number themes
is to look for common
concepts found in like chapter numbers. This is the method used here
to demonstrate the theme for #22, here but it is only a
tiny fraction of the available evidence. At the bottom of this
list is a link to an additional page that has more evidence supporting
the theme. During your own Bible study, watch anything associated with
number 22 and you will be surprised how often you can find themes matching
Jesus or things directly opposed to him.
Luke 2:21 And when eight days had passed, before His circumcision, His name was {then} called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
Chapter #22s themes point to Jesus who came to save and protect us
- There are twenty-two chapter twenty-twos in the Bible and this is
the only chapter number that has a like number of chapters -- a
clue to the extra special nature of this number. I've included a brief
description to how Jesus relates to the themes in ten of
these chapters. The other chapter twenty-twos also
point to Jesus. The Bible's chapter 22's are compelling evidence of
the consistency of the Bible's Numeric Map as well as the theme for
#22.
- Genesis 22 - Abraham takes Isaac up to the mountain of
God as a sacrifice -- Gen 22:2 He said, "Take
now your son, your only son, whom you love, ...offer him there
as a burnt offering...". Note 50 is a number of debts
forgiven and Jubilee and this is the 550th verse of the Bible.
- Numbers 22 – The Angel of the Lord blocks the narrow
path - Many Christian scholars agree that it appears
when the Angel of the Lord is mentioned in the Bible is it likely
an appearance or foreshadowing of Jesus. In Numbers 22 we find
the Angel of the Lord blocking the way (the narrow door)-- v22
…the
angel of the LORD took his stand in the way...Now he was
riding on his donkey and his two servants were with him. v26 The
angel of the LORD ...stood in a narrow place where there
was no way to turn to the right hand or the left.
- Leviticus 22 – A perfect sacrifice is
demanded (Jesus)--
v32 ...I am the LORD who sanctifies
you, v33 who brought you out from the land of Egypt, to be your
God; I am the LORD."
- Josh 22 – Building an altar and praising the LORD before
crossing the Jordan -- v22 "The
Mighty One, God, the LORD, the Mighty One, God, the LORD! v34
v34 ...called the altar Witness; "...it
is a witness between us that the LORD is God."
- Psalms 22 - The savior speaking in the first person
speaking from the Cross -- Psalm 22:1 says "My
God, my God, why have You forsaken me? ..." Again,
relating to #50 and Jubilee, this is exactly the
500th chapter of the Bible (10x50).
- Ezekiel 22 - The LORD's wrath for Jerusalem's sin
-- Eze 22:22 '...you will
be melted in the midst of it; and you will know that I, the LORD,
have poured out My wrath on you. "
- Matthew 22 – Jesus speaks of the wedding feast, Pharisees
plot against him-- v8
…'The
wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
v15 ...the Pharisees went and plotted together
how they might trap Him in what He said.
- Luke 22 - Jesus betrayed, trials, he declares himself the
son of God -- Luke 22:70 ..."Are
You the Son of God, then?" And He said to them, "Yes, I am."
- Acts 22 – Jesus appearance to and conversion of
Paul -- v7 ...'Saul, Saul, why are
you persecuting Me?' v8 "...I
answered, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said to me, 'I am Jesus the Nazarene,
whom you are persecuting.'
- Revaluation
22 – Final chapter of the Bible - Jesus,
the Alpha and Omega -- v12 "Behold,
I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according
to what he has done. v13 "I am
the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
There are mountains of evidence supporting the association of #22 to the theme of Jesus the Suffering Servant. If you are interested in more than the above, click the following link to a secondary page of evidences for the Bible's #22. (supplemental evidence for #22).
The Bible's Number 23 -- The
Lord is with us. Psalms 23 is one of the best examples pointing to the
theme of this number. It begins - The Lord is my shepherd. Twenty-three
speaks of how God is there to comfort, fight for, and otherwise care
for his people. The 23rd verse of Matthew is a very clear explanation
of this theme - Matt 1:23 "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD
AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which
translated means, "GOD WITH US.". Another set of very
common examples of the
theme for number 23 is surprisingly in verses that refer to two or three.
Numbers
in verse text often combine to form a number and theme. For example -
Matt 18:20 "For where two or three have gathered together in My
name, I am there in their midst.". See also hyper verse 23's which
have both a chapter and verse number of 23 - Ex 23:23 My angel goes
before you Jer 23:23 "Am I a God who is near,"... 1Samuel 23:23
..I will go with you.

The Bible's Number 24 -- The Day of the LORD - (see also - supplemental evidence for #24). The 24,000th Bible verse tells us to be on the alert for the day of the Lord. This verse is one of the most compelling evidences for the supernatural structure of the Bible. Following are the 23,998th through the 24,000th transitional verses.
(23,998) Matt 24:40 "Then there will be two
men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.
(23,999) Matt 24:41 "Two women will be grinding
at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
(24,000) Matt 24:42 "Therefore
be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
The lining up of this verse text as well as the chapter with the verse reference of 24:42 is amazing. The chapter is about the Day of the Lord; the verse is about the specific day; the verse references of 24 and 42 both point directly to the digits of 24; and all these twenty-fours line up with the exact 24,000th verse location of the Bible. The mathematical probability of all these points falling on a single unique verse location has been calculated at more than billions to one. It seems God's Word is very serious about wanting us to beware of this awesome day. . (see also - supplemental evidence for #24).
Other evidences that demonstrate this theme for number twenty-four are:
- Chapter 24s - As we often find, chapter numbers seem to have
themes related with the symbolism of the number. We have already discussed
Matthew 24 which is the Bible's main chapter about "The Day of the
Lord" but
there are other chapters pointing to this theme; Isaiah 24 is also
a chapter about the day of the Lord; Genesis 24 tells us of how a bride
was found for Isaac (a picture of Jesus and the church?); In Exodus
24 Moses is called up the mountain where he spends 40 days and 40 nights
(2 fours?); In Leviticus 24 a man who blasphemed the Name (of God?)
was put to death;
Numbers 24 tells the prophecy of Asshur and Eber being destroyed
and that it is God decides who lives;
In Deuteronomy 24 wives of indecency are to be divorced and other laws
of who are put to death for their sin; In Joshua 24 Israel
gathered before God and must chose who they will serve.; and Ezekiel
chapter 24 speaks of a specific day of judgment- Eze 24:2 "...write
the name of the day, this very day. The king of Babylon has laid siege
to Jerusalem this very day.". Other chapter
24s have a similar theme - Judgment and death to the wicked and the
saving of those that follow God.
- Psalm 118:24 declares "This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.". Psalm 118 is a very special chapter as it is in a very special location in the Bible. It is the single chapter found exactly between the shortest and longest chapters of the Bible (117 and 119). Since Psalm 117 is the shortest and exact middle chapter of the Bible, Psalm 118 is the first chapter of the last 1/2 of the Bible. But it's not the numbers of this chapter that make it special - they just point to this chapter to take special note of. It is about entering heaven. Psalm 118 tells us about the Psalmist seeing the gate to heaven; commenting about it being the door; knocking and asking permission to enter; receiving permission and entering. It concludes saying "this is the Day the Lord has made". Not just any day, but the Day the Lord allows us to enter heaven. The Day of the Lord and it is verse 24--I don't imagine this is coincidence. Not only is this a good example of the number 24, but it is also one of the best examples of how numbers help us interpret the Bible. Number 24 helps us understand the special significance of this verse.
- The 21.444th verse Eze 38:18 says - "It will come about on that day, when God comes against the land of Israel," declares the Lord GOD, "that My fury will mount up in My anger.
- In 2Kings chapter 2 we learn of the day when Elijah was taken up
to heaven. It is interesting that the 42nd verse of 2Kings is also
verse 24 where we also find two (2) female bears coming out of the
woods and tearing up forty-two (42) lads. Seems a day of judgment comparable
to the day of the Lord. Interesting the numbers in the text match the
verse reference of 2:24 - "When he looked behind him and
saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears
came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number."
The Bible's Number 25 -- Related to the physical appearance of the messiah, Jesus Christ, on earth. The verses at the 25,000th locations are the most intense clues to this meaning as this transitional verse tells of when Jesus was presented as a baby to the temple priest. Following are the 24,999th, 25,000th and 25,001th verses of the Bible.
Luke 2:25 And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and
this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel;
and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
Luke 2:26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he
would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
Luke 2:27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the
parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law,
The Bible's Number 26 -- The Amazing number of God/Jesus -- Pay special attention to number 26 because the number/text associations to its meaning are truly incredible. Examine the list of clues below and see if you don't agree that #26 is a number for a holy and righteous God - more specifically, #26 seems a number purely about God and Jesus...
- The Hebrew name for God, YHWH, has a numerical value of
26 -- The
Hebraic letters YHWH are assigned gematria/numeric values of 10,
5, 6 and 5 which together add up to 26 (multiple web sites note this-search
for #26 and God).
- The 26th verse of the Bible speaks of the image of God
-- Genesis
1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make
man in Our image, according to Our likeness;... "
- The value for the letters of God's name is 26 -- Interestingly
enough and not likely a coincidence - if you assign a gematria/numeric
value of 1-26 to each letter of the alphabet, the characters G-O-D
have values of 7, 15 and 4 which add to #26 - God=26.
- The foundation of the House of God - Twenty and Six (26)
-- Scripture says the width and length of the House of God
are twenty cubits and six cubits (26/62). Found in 1Kings 6:2 (62/26)
"As for the house which King Solomon
built for the LORD, its length was sixty cubits and its width twenty
cubits and its height thirty cubits". This dimension
is also found in 2 Chronicles 3:3. The height of 30 cubits relates
to #30 about purity and righteousness.
- Leviticus chapter #26 declares "I AM THE LORD" -- This
is the 116th chapter (2 and 6 = 26) and the first verse finds itself
as the 3526th Bible verse. The verse reference numbers as well
as the text suggest the theme of " I
AM THE LORD"
and "THIS
IS WHAT YOU WILL DO".
As a clue to this theme, the phrases "I
Will" and "You
will" are found throughout the chapter. The
first and last verse frame this chapter's theme -- the first verse
declaring "I
am the Lord your God" and the last verse ends
by saying "I am the Lord their
God".
- Matt 26:26 Explains Jesus is the bread of life -- ...Jesus
took some bread ...broke it...and said, "Take, eat; this
is My body."
- Eleven non-random #26 related related
verses about God/Jesus -- (You
might need to think about this for a couple of moments to let it sink
into your comprehension) --
If you sequentially number the Bibles verses from 1 to 31,102, you
find just eleven cross-Bible verse numbers that
both begin and end with number 26. Every
one of these are consistent in their context of
association with God/Jesus. You can find this number/text consistency
with any number, but this set is the most clear example I've
seen. Seemingly impossible
to be coincidence, it also
is compelling evidence for the perfection of the
Bible's Numeric Map.
- BV(2626) -- The Lampstand and 26 -- Exo 37:21 and a bulb was under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand. It is interesting this verse mentions 3 pairs of branches (6 branches) and then again the text says "six branches". Six and six is two sixes (66/26).
BV(26026) -- The Risen Lord and 26 -- Luke 24:34 saying, "The Lord has really risen and has appeared to Simon."
BV(26126) -- The Kingdom of God and 26 -- John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
BV(26226) -- Jesus the healer and 26 -- John 5:15 The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
BV(26326) -- The only way to be saved and 26 -- John 6:68 Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.
BV(26426) -- The father of lies and 26 (opposite meaning) -- John 8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. ... for he is a liar and the father of lies. Every number has both a positive and opposite or negative theme. This verse reflects satan which is as opposite from God as we find in the Bible.
BV(26526) -- Anointed Jesus and 26 -- John 11:2 It was the Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
BV(26626) -- God, the one who sent Jesus, and 26 -- John 12:45 "He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me.
BV(26726) -- God the father sent the spirit of truth (v26) and 26 -- John 15:26 "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,
BV(26826) -- The Son of God rejected and 26 -- John 18:40 So they cried out again, saying, "Not this Man, but Barabbas." Now Barabbas was a robber.
BV(26926) -- Jesus taken up to heaven/gave orders/chose apostles and 26 -- Acts 1:2 until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen.
The above are just a small token of available evidence associating #26 as the number of God. This evidence could stand alone in demonstrating that only God could have prepared his word in such a perfect DNA like intersection of number/text relationships.
-top of page-The Bible's Number 27 -- A number often directly related to Jesus Christ. Twenty-seven is also related to the number 77 which has a similar meaning. It seems 27 is often associated to the Holy Spirit or what I imagine as Jesus inside us. The witness of God and Jesus. Jesus testifies to himself; 144,000 (2x72,000) witness on the earth about Jesus.
The first verses of the Bible are one of the best sources for understanding number themes. I suspect this is because the are the most purely numbered verses. For example, Genesis 1:27 is; the 27th verse of the first chapter and the first book. It's cross-Bible verse number is 27 and its cross-book verse number is 27. The numbers we know of that influence/validate the verse contents are all about number 1 and number 27.
Gen 1:27 God created man in His own image,
in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
The Bible's Number
28 -- Jesus our Great High Priest who intercedes for us -
Jesus is our only way to eternal life. Through his death on the cross
we can have access to eternal life by claiming Jesus blood as the only
acceptable sacrifice for our sins. Number 28 points to this aspect
of Jesus as our High Priest who intercedes with God so we might live.
A major mention of the number 28 in the Bible's text is found in Exodus 26:2 that tells us of the curtain that separates men from the Holy of Holies - "The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall have the same measurements". The verse clearly tells of the barrier between God and men. This is the same type of curtain which was torn in two (from top to bottom) when Jesus died on the cross. It is interesting that adding the chapter and verse reference of 26:2 also produces the #28 which may be further evidence of the number theme. This is also the 2238th Bible verse with first and last digits of the number being #28 - a common type of number pattern found in the scriptures.
Another example of this picture of Jesus as our High Priest can be seen in Matthew 27:28 where a scarlet robe is put on Jesus - verse 28 says "They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him". This verse is part of the 956th chapter about the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World. The 56 in chapter number 956 suggests an association with #28 (2x28=56). The cross Bible verse sequence number of 24158 also supports this verse being related to #28. Another #28 related verse is Ephesians 2:18 which says "for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father" - it also shows Jesus our High Priest intercedes for us.
The Bible's 828 Book Verses confirm the #28 theme...
There are 16 books with an 828th verse and these verses all somehow point to acts of either the Lord interceding for us, or how one intercedes for another. As impossible as it the thought is, the Bible's DNA like Numeric Map seems to have meaningful intersections of numbers in every direction you investigate. Like referenced cross book verse numbers have common threads of themes running through them which allows you to quickly investigate many verses to better understand related number themes. In looking at this set of 828 verses, you will find some examples more obvious than others, but I've still provided the complete set so those interested can examine for themselves if the preponderance of evidence in them shows a theme of intercession, or one standing up for another.
While examining
these verses take note that they are not only clues to the meaning of
#28, but by understanding the theme running through the set, their text
can collectively be better understood. That is, the verses help understand
the numbers, and the numbers in return help interpret the verses. Many
worry that studying Biblical numerics will lead to misinterpretation,
but actually the Bible's numbers are a guide to more accurate interpretation..

Eze 33:12 "... 'The righteousness of a righteous man will not deliver him ...' (an intercessor is needed)
Matt 24:15 "...when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION ...standing in the holy place (as if he was the intercessor),
Luke 18:33 and after they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; (Jesus intercedes for our sin)"
John 20:5 and stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in. (The evidence Jesus was resurrected as he said he would be. Might the linen wrappings be a reference to a kind of royal robe?)
Act 23:17 Paul ...said, "Lead this young man to the commander, for he has something to report..." (the young man intercedes for Paul).
Number 28 is related to #14 about Jesus the King as 14x2=28. This demonstrates
how numbers can have similar and related meanings while themselves
representing specific aspects of the overall meaning. #14 and #28 are
both about Jesus, #14 for Jesus the King and #28 for Jesus the High
Priest who intercedes for us.

The Bible's Number 29 -- An incredible number of the soon coming of Jesus to redeem the Godly
One of the most amazing number 29 related verses in the Bible is John
1:29 which says "The next day he saw
Jesus coming to him and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who
takes away the sin of the world!". More evidence
of the preciseness of the Bible's Numeric Map is that John 1:29 is the
2,929th verse of the New Testament.
Twenty-nine is related to many 999 type numbers. Ninety-nine is a way of expressing the last thing done before the end of things. Other related numbers are 92, 99, 999 and even 911 (92). The 29th chapter of the New Testament is Mark chapter 1 which seems a summary overview of the events of Jesus return.
Job 29 is the middle of the 929 chapters of the Old Testament. Although the text of this chapter seems to speak of Job's past it also seems a likely parallel to the events of Jesus appearing on earth. Job 29 has 25 verses and 25 is a number related to the appearance of the messiah.
The phrase "in a little while" is in 29 verses - the return of the Lord
I don't consider myself a Bible scholar so do not want to presume I understand what this means, but I have observed how #29 is associated to the return of the Lord and then later noticed the phrase "little while" occurs in 29 Bible verses. My experience says this is not coincidence - the verse text also demonstrates strong references to the coming of the Lord down to earth. It appears this phrase speaks of times related to both his first and second coming. I suspect, if we could understand the message, it could be a clue to when the Lord will actually return. The Phrase "little while" used in reference to Jesus time in his first coming
Notice how the following verses using the term "little while" seem to speak of the time Jesus was on earth. I wonder if it related to the number of years Jesus was among us which is said by many to be around 30?- John 7:33 ...Jesus said, "For a little while longer I am with you, then I go to Him who sent Me.
- John 16:16 "A little while, and you will no longer see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me."
- John 16:18 So they were saying, "What is this that He says, 'A little while'? We do not know what He is talking about."
- John 14:19 "After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
- John 13:33 "Little children, I am with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, now I also say to you, 'Where I am going, you cannot come.'
- Heb 2:9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
- Mrk 14:70 But again he denied it. And after a little while the bystanders were again saying to Peter, "Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean too."
- John 12:35 So Jesus said to them, "For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.
- John 16:17 Some of His disciples then said to one another, "What is this thing He is telling us, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, 'because I go to the Father'?"
- John 16:19 Jesus knew that they wished to question Him, and He said to them, "Are you deliberating together about this, that I said, 'A little while, and you will not see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me'?
- Heb 2:7 "YOU HAVE MADE HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS; YOU HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, AND HAVE APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS;
The Phrase "little while" used in reference to when he will return
The following verses that include the phrase "little while" seem to speak of the time until the Lord's return or about what will happen upon his return.- Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter into your rooms And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while Until indignation runs its course.
- Jer 51:33 ... Yet in a little while the time of harvest will come for her."
- Hag 2:6 "... 'Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth...
- Heb 10:37 ...IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE, HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME...
- Isa 10:25 "For in a very little while My indignation against you will be spent..."
- 1Pet 5:10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
- Rev 6:11 And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
- Rev 17:10 and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while.
- Psa 37:10 Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there.
- Jam 4:14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
- 1Pet 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
- Isa 29:17 Is it not yet just a little while Before Lebanon will be turned into a fertile field, And the fertile field will be considered as a forest?
- 1Kin 18:45 In a little while the sky grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy shower. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.
- Isa 63:18 Your holy people possessed Your sanctuary for a little while, Our adversaries have trodden it down.
- Eze 11:16 "Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Though I had removed them far away among the nations and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them a little while in the countries where they had gone.'"
These verses that use the term "little while" seem to both confirm Jesus claim that he will return and give us some indication that when he does, it will be a time of "indignation".
Notes on 29
- Number 29 is the 10th prime number (assuming 1 is prime which biblical numbers suggest)
There's much evidence supporting the association of #29 with the theme of Jesus return. Click the following link to a secondary page of evidences for the Bible's #29. (supplemental evidence for #29).
-top of page-The Bible's Number 30 -- A number of anointing, purity and making clean. Often related to the Holy Spirit (10 times 3).
The Bible's Number 31 -- A number of completion of fullness. Often has text that suggests the inclusion of all things, everything, everyone. Is also related to #13 in a spiritual sense and thus a reference to those saved or not saved. In the examples that follow I've used some of the Bible's 3:10 verses which are a type of hyper or super 31 type verse.
Rom 3:10 ..."THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS,
NOT EVEN ONE;
Mal 3:10 "Bring the whole tithe
into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me
now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open
for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until
it overflows.
Matt 3:10 "The axe is already laid at
the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good
fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Zech 3:10 'In that day,' declares the LORD
of hosts, 'every one of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his
vine and under his fig tree.' "
Gal 3:10 ... "CURSED IS EVERYONE
WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO
PERFORM THEM."
The Bible's Number 32 -- Like 222, a number for Jesus...TBD
The Bible's Number 33 -- A holy spirit number but seems often related to separation of Good and bad. --TBD
Points of interest
- There are 303 verse 33s in the Bible
The Bible's Number 34 -- Two times 17 which is a number for resurrection. Has differences from 17 - TBD
The Bible's Number 35 -- Related to the lifting up of the saints or the destruction of the wicked. Very much similar to the number 53 (153 fish lifted up, Isaiah chapter 53) but has some differences -- TBD
-top of page-The Bible's Number 36 -- (See also 2012-01-23 - Blog Post - Rev 13:18 The number of the beast...24 verses of scripture that also reveal #666 is a number of great evil ) - related to being covered or surrounded as if being in a sphere or circle (360 degrees). Related to John 3:16, 1John 4:9 and Ruth 4:9 -the number 36 can be related to salvation - our sins "covered" and being forgiven. It is not only a number of being forgiven, but #36 in the negative sense is a number of being unforgiven and found with things of extreme sin (666=three sixes). It is very often seen related to things of the world (flesh), or things not of this world/earth (spirit). #360 is also associated #180 (a factor of 360 - 2x180) and found in reference to things covered (half circle) or in reference to direction such as turning to the right/left; going backwards/forwards; or turning around such as towards or away from God.
The Bible's Number 37 -- A number of perfection and salvation very similar to 777 and more directly related to 73. -- See number 777 for more information...
The Bible's Number 38 -- 888 is a number for Jesus as demonstrated in many writings by being the gematria number for Jesus name in the greek. -- TBD
The Bible's Number 39 --Directly related to Israel and the Jews. I believe it is an indication of them still wandering in the wilderness (40-1). There are 39 books in the Old Testament and it is amazing the first chapter of the New Testament is the 930th chapter of the Bible (93 and 39 are directly related. Lots of other evidences for supporting this claim.
The Bible's Number 40 -- Wilderness wandering, testing, trials. Periods of testing such as the 40 days Jesus was tested in the wilderness. God's number 40 seems to be about appointed times of trials and testing in the wilderness. Number 4 is related to the creation and things of our earth and thus we can see our time on earth as a time "in the wilderness". After the appointed time of man's wilderness wandering on earth the end of the age will come. This end of the age is also associated to #40 as can be seen in the example verses.
This 17th chapter of the Bible reveals Abram being delivered by God, given a new name and a new covenant. #17 is a number of being delivered or being set apart. In Genesis 7, the rain for the flood began on the 17th day and the ark later rested on the 17th day. Jesus was crucified on the 14th which was Passover and was raised three days later on the 17th. You will find this sort of lifting up and saving or casting down of the wicked in the Bible's chapter 17s as well as other #17 related text. Note, this chapter begins with the 399th verse of Genesis - #99 is a number of things that occur just before the end and in this 399th verse Abram was 99 years old. In verse 2, which is the 400th verse of the chapter, Abraham's new life begins. #40 and #400 are related to periods of trials testing and also is a reference to the end of testing.
Example verses for #40
-
#40 - a number of cleansing/preparation - God used 40 days of flood to both cleanse the earth of sin and save the remnant. Note: verse 7:4 has seven and four mentioned in the text - Gen 7:4 "For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights... "
-
#40 - Moses spent 40 years in wilderness - Note the verse reference of 7:30 relating it to #73 and #777 which is a number of sanctification. - Act 7:30 "After forty years had passed, AN ANGEL APPEARED TO HIM IN THE WILDERNESS OF MOUNT Sinai, IN THE FLAME OF A BURNING THORN BUSH.
-
4,000th Bible verse (10x40) - in the 4th Book, at the 4000th verse, the wilderness wandering begins - Numbers 10:11 Now in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud was lifted from over the tabernacle of the testimony;.
-
#40 - orders to set out - Deu 1:40 'But as for you, turn around and set out for the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.'
-
#40 - a time of preparation - Gen 50:3 Now forty days were required for it, for such is the period required for embalming
-
#40 - the end is coming - #24 is also a reference to the end coming (The Day of the Lord). Notice that a day's walk would be 24 hours? Jnah 3:4 Then Jonah began to go through the city one day's walk; and he cried out and said, "Yet forty days and Nineveh will be overthrown."
-
"About" #40 years = 38 years? - We understand the time of wandering was about 38 years as seems to be confirmed by this verse - take note of the verse reference to #38 - Act 13:18 "For a period of about forty years He put up with them in the wilderness.
-
#40 - calling from the wilderness - Isaiah - Isa 40:3 A voice is calling, "Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
-
#40 end of the age/at an appointed time - Dan 11:40 "At the end time the king of the South will collide with him.
-
#40 testing God/resulting wilderness years - Num 14:34 'According to the number of days which you spied out the land, forty days, for every day you shall bear your guilt a year, even forty years...
-
#40 - testing/trials - Heb 3:9 where your fathers tried me by testing me, and saw my works for forty years.
-
#40 - a time of preparation - 1Cor 14:40 But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner
-
#40 - the end of wandering - When we accept Jesus
as our Lord and savior, our wilderness wandering ends - John
11:40 ...if you believe, you will see
the glory of God?"
The Bible's Number 41 -- Related to number 14 related to Jesus the King and Redeemer but seems more often to be in a negative way. TBD.
Points of interest
- There are 141 verse 41s in the Bible
The Bible's Number 42 -- Seems often associated to sin and the number six. It is 42 months, 3.5 years or 1260 days related to the prophecy of Jesus return and tribulation numbers.
The Bible's Number 43 -- Resurrection only comes by humbly coming before Jesus -- The symbolism of number 43 is about us doing the only thing we can to be saved and resurrected to eternal life--it is about what we must do to be saved. The word "resurrection" is found 43 times in the Bible and it will be found related to text somehow related to coming before Jesus to seek his forgiveness.
There are only a few examples of number 43 found in the Bible's text
and they are a bit obscure to examine so the evidence here will be taken
from associations to Biblical reference numbers. One of the clearest
associations to number 43 is found in 1Kings chapter 7 which tells us
about the temple's furniture and in this verse, the stands of bronze
which had dimensions of 4x4x3 cubits. Every number in text of the Bible
has meaning - we may not understand them all but we should realize nothing
found in the scrip tires is left to chance. 1Kings 7:27 contains
the digits 4 and 3 which suggests a possible symbolic meaning with 43
says - "Then
he made the ten stands of bronze; the length of each stand was four cubits
and its width four cubits and its height three cubits". These
stands were
for making offerings to God for sin and are examples of how we are to
come before God with our offerings seeking his forgiveness. Our offering
is no longer the sacrifice of an animal's blood but is rather that of
presenting our faith in the Lamb of God, Jesus, who died on the cross
to free us from the debt of sin.
If this reference was the only evidence for the symbolism for 43 we could not
place much value on it, but it appears to be confirmed by many other associations
to 43 referenced scrip tires:
The Bible's Number 44 -- Seems a number of warning to obey God's Word. 44 and 444 both seem related to the word.
Points of interest
- There are 111 verse 44s in the Bible
The Bible's Number 45 -- You will know that I am the Lord--truly recognizing God
You will know I am the Lord
Number forty-five seems to have a theme of God preserving his people so that they might believe his is the only God.
Genesis chapter 45 is where Joseph finally appeared to his brothers. He had been taking care of them and brought them out of their land of famine to Egypt, then a land where they could be preserved. He gave them everything they needed and said they need not worry about anything while they were there. He was taking care of them--he was the Lord of the land only reporting to Pharaoh in the same way Jesus only answers to God. This chapter is a great picture of the number of 45. There are only three mentions of the number forty-five in text - In Genesis 18:28 we find Abraham negotiating with God to save Lot and Sodom and God responds "I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there". Another mention of forty-five is found in Joshua 14:10 where it says "Now behold, the LORD has let me live, just as He spoke, these forty-five years...".
Examples of 45 found in the Numeric Map are; Genesis 45:5 says "Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life..."; In Leviticus 11:45 God reminds Israel "For I am the LORD who brought you up from the land of Egypt to be your God; thus you shall be holy, for I am holy.".
The number 45 is also related to number 54 (see number 54). The combined chapter and verse reference of Exodus 4:5 is related to 45 (like all 4:5 verses) and is in the Bible's 54th chapter. It says "that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.".

Those who do not trust or know the lord
The other side of knowing to trust God is about those that do not trust
God because they do not know him. This theme is also found in 45 related
text in the 154th chapter in cross bible verse number 4925 (relates
to 45) Deuteronomy 1:32 says "But for
all this, you did not trust the LORD your God,".

The Bible's Number 47 -- Separating the clean from the unclean - To be saved, must accept Jesus and also obey his word. Notice that these verses speak of putting action to confidence we put in Christ. There are few examples of #47 found in the text of scripture so to get an idea of the symbolism of the number, examine the following verses with 4 and 7 or 47 in their numbering. These are not intended to prove the meaning, but rather to help provide the concept so you can look for it in your own study.
Gen 4:7 "...if
you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; ...but you must
master it."
Eze 4:7 "... you shall set your face toward the siege of
Jerusalem ...prophesy against it.
Hos 4:7 The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me; I
will change their glory into shame.
Jnah 4:7 But God appointed a worm when dawn came the next day and it
attacked the plant and it withered.

nation,...
1Tim 4:7 But have nothing to do with worldly fables ...discipline
yourself for the purpose of godliness;
Jam 4:7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from
you.
1Pet 4:7 The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment
and sober spirit....
Luke 12:47 "...that slave who...did not get ready or act in accord
with his will, will receive many
lashes,
John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him,...Behold,
an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!"
John 6:47 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.
The Bible's Number 48 --Knowing God and who he is--watching for the Lord's return
96 related
The Bible's Number 49 -- A very interesting number that is put in perspective when you understand the meaning of number 50 which is about Jubilee and the forgiveness of debt and sin. Forty-nine is the last number prior to 50 and is a number that says we are near the time of Jubilee and also of the return of the Lord.
The Bible's Number 50 -- Jubilee - A celebration and time of forgiving all debts--releasing all captives and servants. Freedom. Psalms 22 is a picture of Jesus dying on the cross and although seems tragic, it is also a picture of Jubilee-his death paid for our sins. It is no wonder Psalms 22 is the 500th (50x10) chapter of the Bible--pretty strong evidence that Psalms 22 is about Jesus.
Following are some of the many supporting passages for the theme for #50
- Leviticus 27:3 tells us the value of a man who makes a difficult vow is 50 shekels, the price of salvation? - "...then your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary".
- The 5050th Bible verse speaks of Israel being led out of Egypt and obtaining their freedom from bondage -- Deu 4:45 these are the testimonies and the statutes and the ordinances which Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, when they came out from Egypt
- The 500th chapter is Psalm 22, a chapter of Jubilee as Jesus hung on the cross for our sins - Psa 22:1 My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.
- The 550th Bible verse commands Abraham to sacrifice his son - a metaphor of Jesus, God's son being sacrificed
- Gen 22:2 He said, "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering ..."
- Genesis 50 - Joseph's brothers fear they will be paid back for their sin but Joseph forgives them - Gen 50:21 "...do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones." So he comforted them...".
- Isaiah chapter 50-The Lord speaks of his coming and asks if his hand is so short that it cannot redeem-a chapter about who will be redeemed-Isa 50:2 "Why was there no man when I came? ...Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom? Or have I no power to deliver?...
- Psalm chapter 50--all will be judged but those who offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving will be saved - Psalm 50:5 "Gather My godly ones to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.".

-top of page-The Bible's Number 53 -- (excuse the mess--under construction 3/11/2010) Shekinah glory of God and being glorified--lifted up. We see this glory of God clearly in the 53rd chapter of the bible and the 53rd verse of Exodus--Exodus 3:2 says "And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed". Exodus 3:6 "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. Moses was afraid because of his sin - Chapter and verse 3:6 is related to number 666 (3 sixes) and is appropriately assigned to this verse. The Bible's key verse of original sin is another 36/666 related verse - Genesis 3:6 - When the woman saw that the tree was good for food...she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.". The pillar of cloud and of fire are also related to 53 and the Glory of God.
In John chapter 21 we see a very important 53 related number -- John
21:11 "Simon Peter went up and drew the net
to land, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three; and although
there were so many, the net was not torn". This passage is
showing us of how God will lift up (glorify) the godly and will not lose
a single person--the net did not tear. Another verse in the Bible helps
us see this truth -
(more evidences for number 53 and the glory of God will be added)

The Bible's Number 54 -- Learning and realizing who God is, especially through Jesus Christ The theme for number 54 is that of learning or realizing who God is as well as knowing about God. In the 54th chapter of Isaiah God tells israel who he is and how he will restore them and the 5th verse seems to be the key verse making a very direct claim about who God is. It is consistent with the theme we find for number 54 in that it is about us learning about who God is...
Isa 54:5 "For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.
For the remainder of examples we will use three verses supporting a common theme that all are clearly related in their cross Bible verse numbers - the 54th, the 540th and the 5,400th verses of the Bible.
The 5400th verse - The most striking evidence for this theme comes in the 5400th and 5401st verses of the Bible which are Deuteronomy 18:15-16 in which God tells us he will raise up for the people a prophet they are to listen to. God tells Israel he is sending this prophet (Christ) because Israel was terrified when they were last in the presence of God, and they asked God not to come before them again. These verses are among those that reveal God sent the Lord Jesus so that we might learn about God by listening to his prophet - thus fitting the theme of #54. Deuteronomy 18:15 says - "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him. v16 "This is according to all that you asked of the LORD your God...let me not see this great fire anymore, or I will die.".
Other clues this verse is about Jesus - One way we can be more certain of the theme for number 54 is to realize it is a multiple of #27 which is a number for Jesus himself. Number multiples have related themes. Numbers Twenty-seven and seventy-two are ways of expressing seventy-seven (two sevens) and are related to Jesus who came to testify/witness about God. Knowing this, we find two other numbers related to Deuteronomy chapter 18 which contains the 5400th verse: first, the cross Bible chapter number is #171 which can be seen as 1+1&7 or 27 (1/2 of 54); second, there are 22 verses in this chapter and #22 is the number for Jesus the suffering servant (see # 22). Three numbers line up with the text to support this theme; (1) the chapter number relating to 27; (2) the count of 22 verses in the chapter; (3) the 5400 series of verses found in this chapter. All these numbers point to Jesus, the prophet of God sent to speak his words.
The 54th Bible verse-- Another example of the theme for #54 is the 54th verse of the Bible in which Eve is brought to Adam (which is a metaphor of Jesus and his bride, the church). In this verse, Genesis 2:23 tells how Adam declared and knew what Eve represented - "The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man". This 54th verse lines up perfectly with the Bible's 5400th verse as they both speak of Jesus being brought to his bride. Note that knowing the theme for #54 and this being the 54th verse help support our interpretation of the symbolism of this passage.
The 540th Bible verse - As another example of the number/text
association for number 54 is the 540th verse of the Bible that tells
us of the opposite side of knowing someone which is,
not knowing them. Genesis 21:26 says "And
Abimelech said, "I do not know who has done this thing; you did
not tell me, nor did I hear of it until today.".
Each of these cross Bible verse numbers show strong concurrence in suggesting
the theme related to #54. These
types of consistent number/contextual associations
are some of the most encouraging examples for helping us truly realize
we are not imagining things when we conclude the Bible really does contain
a perfect Numeric Map of God.
The Bible's Number 58 --
Realizing or seeing God - You shall know I am the Lord -- Number
58 and its related number 85 both are related to God telling us that
he will make sure we know who he is. This can be expressed in a few
different ways. For example; God may tell us directly in his word who
he is; we may be seeking to understand who God is; or God may be forcing
us to realize who he is. There are limited direct inferences to
number 58 in the Bible's text but it is still important to understand
the number symbolism to help in interpreting number 58 related text.
Some examples that demonstrate the symbolism for 58 follow.
The
158th verse of Daniel is found in chapter 5 which is also the Bible's
885th chapter (58 and 85 related). In this chapter,
King Belshazzar had just seen the hand of God write on the wall during
a banquet and no one understands it was a message from the hand of
God. The chapter is about God telling the king that, like it or not,
he will know who he is.
In Daniel 5:8 (58)
we see they could not understand the writing on the wall and that it
was from God - "...all
the king's wise men came in, but they could not read the inscription
or make known its interpretation to the king". Daniel
was brought in to translate the inscription and in verse 5:18 (58)
we see his first action was to acknowledge God and show us Daniel knew
God - "O
king, the Most High God granted sovereignty, grandeur, glory and
majesty to Nebuchadnezzar your father". The message
written on the wall told the king he was to be driven away from
mankind until he finally acknowledged God. Daniel 5:21 is the 158th
(58) verse of Daniel and says "He
was also driven away from mankind, and his heart was made like that
of beasts, and his dwelling place was with the wild donkeys. He
was given grass to eat like cattle, and his body was drenched with
the dew of heaven until he recognized that the Most High God is
ruler over the realm of mankind and that He sets over it whomever
He wishes". Daniel chapter 5 is a piece of strong evidence
for the theme of 58.
Another example supporting the 58 theme is found in the
Bible's 158th chapter which is Deuteronomy 5. In verse 5:8 (58)
God commands that we are not to make any image of God thus telling us
it is impossible to make an image of him. We cannot understand God - 'You
shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.
Another strong example for 58 is found in the Bible's 5800th verse which
is located in the 185th (85/58) bible chapter. I don't see this as coincidence
- Deuteronomy 32:41 says "...I
will render vengeance on My adversaries, And I will repay those
who hate Me". In another similarly numbered verse, the
15,800th verse is in the Bible's 589th (58) chapter - Psalm 111:6 says
"He has made known to His people
the power of His works...". There are only three verses
in the Bible with a cross Bible verse reference ending in 5,800 and the
last of the three is in Luke chapter 20. Verse 20 says - So
they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in
order that they might catch Him in some statement, so that they
could deliver Him to the rule and the authority of the governor. The
chief priests were "watching" Jesus
which is an action related to seeking to understand Jesus who claims
he is God. Each of these uniquely numbered verses fit the same symbolism
for 58 found in other locations.
There are only two chapter number fifty-eights and both of them
are about understanding who God is; Psalm declares
58:11 says "And
men will say, ...Surely there is a God who judges on earth!";
Isaiah 58:8-9 says "...The
glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. "Then
you will call, and the LORD will answer; You will cry, and He will
say, 'Here I am."
Words occurring 58 times: It is interesting that the
words "almighty" and "Holy One" are
found 58 times in the Bible. The words "Jesus answered" is
also found 58 times and might be seen in the same sense that "God
answered".

The Bible's Number 59 -- God is a Jealous God -- we must pick up our cross and follow him. Deuteronomy 5:9 'You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth {generations} of those who hate Me..
The Bible's Number 60 -- Separating the clean from the unclean. Those that accept God's ways from those wanting to do things their own way. Sin. Often seen in reference to the Lord Jesus coming (on his way). Six is related to crossing over so 60 might be seen as a crossing over or crossing back from Heaven by Jesus. TBD

The Bible's Number 67 -- Six days you work and on the seventh you rest. Related to God giving us rest and even making rest for us by saving and protecting us. In Israel's six day war (rest on the seventh day-67) Jerusalem was freed on the 6th day which was June 7, 1967 (6/7/67). Was a miracle Israel won the war and the numbers seem to tell us who won it for them.
-top of page-The Bible's Number 69 -- Deceit and confusion - turning from God and doing things our own way
The most dramatic example of the theme for #69 is the 69th verse of the Bible where Eve blamed her sin on the deceit of the serpent - Genesis 3:13 says "Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
In the 69th chapter Exo 19:16 (96) tells us of the fear and trembling that occurred when the Lord came down so the people could meet him - "So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled".
The Bible's Number 70 -- Sabbath rest, atonement -- Daniel's 70th week - TBD
70th verse of Ruth - Ruth 4:7 Now this was the custom in former times in Israel concerning the redemption and the exchange of land to confirm any matter: a man removed his sandal and gave it to another; and this was the manner of attestation in Israel.
Notes on 70
- The Days of our life are 70 or 80 - Psa 90:10 As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet their pride is {but} labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we fly away.
The Bible's Number 72 -- Testimony, witnesses,
witness. Ruth 4:9 is the 7200th verse of the Bible and is the 72nd verse
of Ruth. If that is not amazing enough, Ruth 4 is the 236th chapter
of the Bible (2x36=72) and the chapter and verse reference (4x9)
multiply to 36 which is 1/2 of 72. The verse text confirms the theme. Those
who think this is all coincidence need to ponder the facts awhile longer.
- Ruth 4:9 "Then Boaz said
to the elders and all the people, "You
are witnesses today that I have bought from the hand of Naomi all
that belonged to Elimelech and all that belonged to Chilion and Mahlon".

The Bible's Number 74 -- Similar to #47 which speaks of separating the clean from the unclean - #74 speaks about what is required for salvation and more specifically, seems focused on the fearless preaching of God's Word. It is also found related to those who preach what the people want to hear instead of boldly preaching the word.
Separating clean from unclean -

The Bible's Number 76 -- Like 67 but seems instead of moving from work to sabbath rest seems a reference to the blessed sliding back to condemnation. 76 may be related to the US. 1776 is Independence Day. 6/7/1967 is Jerusalem independence Day (6 day war).
-top of page-The Bible's Number 77 -- A number for Jesus Christ, savior and redeemer. Related to 27 and 72.
The Bible's Number 78 -- Israel--78
is two times 39 which is a number for Israel and the Jews who have not
yet escaped their wilderness wandering (#40 is 39+1). Seven is a number
of being watched over by the Good Shepherd and is also a number for being
under judgment -- Judges is the 7th Book and speaks of Israel's continual
falling away and judgment. Number eight is about the Godly being redeemed
as we see in Genesis chapter eight, where the ark rested and the remnant
of eight were saved. The eight book is Ruth, and is about both jew and
gentile coming back to God's land and being restored--Ruth was married
to Boaz which is a picture of Jesus and his bride the church.
It seems
that seventy-eight can be looked at as seven followed by eight - a reference
to being being somewhere in the process of moving from the 7th to the
8th step of God's Redemption pattern (ref my book).
Lev 22:27 "When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it shall be accepted as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the LORD.
Lev 23:36 'For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.
Lev 23:39 'On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day.
Neh 8:18 He read from the book of the law of God daily, from the first day to the last day. And they celebrated the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly according to the ordinance. (note: chapter and verse can be seen as 8:7 related to 78)
Mic 5:5 This One will be our peace. When the Assyrian invades our land, When he tramples on our citadels, Then we will raise against him Seven shepherds and eight leaders of men.
The Bible's Numeric Map reveals the number 78 as well; The Bible's 78th verse tells about how men are not yet godly and are trying to be god themselves -- Gen 3:22 "Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever". The Bible's 7,800 and 7,801st verses have a similar theme - 1Sam 22:12-13 Saul said, "Listen now, son of Ahitub." And he answered, "Here I am, my lord." v13 Saul then said to him, "Why have you and the son of Jesse conspired against me, in that you have given him bread and a sword and have inquired of God for him, so that he would rise up against me by lying in ambush as {it is} this day?". These verses are in the 258th chapter and 258 can be seen as 2+5 with 8 or 78. 1Samuel 22:12 is also the 587th verse of the book of 1Samuel and this number ending in 87 is consistent with the perfection of the Bible's Numeric Map. Three different aligning numbers that fit the theme of the text which is also seen in other 78 related passages.

The Bible's Number 80 --Relates to the 8th step of the Redemption Pattern which is the step of becoming an obedient Godly servant.
Notes on 80
- The Days of our life are 70 or 80 - Psa 90:10 As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we fly away.
The Bible's Number 84 --
84/12=7 which may be a reference to the 7 year tribulation. Appears a
number related to The Day of the Lord and #24. Numbers for Eze 22:22 seem
to reflect the symbolism of this number. 'As silver is melted in the
furnace, so you will be melted in the midst of it; and you will know that
I, the LORD, have poured out My wrath on you.' "

The Bible's Number 90 -- What we did, how we lived and acted while waiting for the Lord's Return
Related to our acts or service as we await the Lord's return. Referring to Godly saints seeking a full blessing or our sinful actions we slide back into as we await the Lord's return. The 9th step of the Redemption Pattern is that of obedient servants (#8) persevering in service while watching and waiting for Jesus return.
The Bible's Number 92 -- Like 29..related to the return of the Lord, both to catch up the faithful and the beginning of The Day of the Lord. Number ninety-two is directly related to 911, God's number of consequences to nations who have turned from the Lord -- See Daniel 9:11 and related passages.

The Bible's Number 94 -- See number 49
The Bible's Number 95 -- see number 59
The Bible's Number 96 -- Israel and believers being deceived not consulting God, living their own way
The 96th chapter of the Bible is Leviticus chapter 6 and is about the atonement required for sin. In a foretelling of Jesus giving his own life, this chapter says we must make an offering of a ram without defect for sin. It is not coincidence the sacrifice for sin is mentioned in this 6:6th verse associated with #66 which is also about sin.
Leviticus 6:6 "Then he shall bring to the priest his guilt offering to the LORD, a ram without defect from the flock... v7 ...the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD, and he will be forgiven for any one of the things which he may have done to incur guilt."
A second example--Joshua chapter 9 is the 196th chapter of the Bible and both verse 9:6 and verse 9:16 are key chapter verses about the deceit brought on the Israel because they had not consulted God. In this chapter, the kings of Canaan devised a plan to fool Israel into making a covenant with them to insure they would not destroy them. The kings sent representatives who claimed they were ambassadors from distant nations when they were actually from nearby kingdoms. After hearing their story, verse 14 says Israel's leaders did not seek the counsel of God and were fooled into making a covenant. In verse 9:6 we find the actual lie and deceit and in verse 9:16 the covenant was made but then discovered. A chapter strong in both numbering and text showing the theme for #96 as men were lead away from God and doing things their own way.
Joshua 9:6 And they went to Joshua unto ...him, and to the men of Israel, We are come from a far country: now therefore make ye a covenant with us.
Joshua 9:16 And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a covenant with them, that they heard that they were their neighbors, and that they dwelt among them.
See also number 69 which is also similar in theme to this number.
The Bible's Number 97 -- see number 79
The Bible's Number 98 -- When Jesus passes over, he judges his people with righteousness and equity--The Lord's Passover -- Jesus seeks out the faithful remnant who are marked to be saved. Others are destroyed without pity. Ezekiel 9:8 is a very specific example that says - As they were striking the people and I alone was left, I fell on my face and cried out saying, "Alas, Lord GOD! Are You destroying the whole remnant of Israel by pouring out Your wrath on Jerusalem?". Also in the 968th chapter, Mark 11:13 says "Seeing at a distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if perhaps He would find anything on it; and when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves...". In the 98th verse of the book, Hosea 7:14 says "they do not cry to Me from their heart ..., They turn away from Me. ". Also in 2Chronicles 7:14 is the well quoted verse - "...if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land".. How does this 7:14 verse have a relationship with #98 -- 7x14=98. Note, Hosea 7:14 is the 98th verse and 7x14=98.
Patterns in the Bible's numeric map consistently show the verse text relationship to; chapter times verse; chapter plus verse; and chapter with verse (7:14=714) are all to be considered in evaluating verse themes. This gives an example of how incredibly complex the DNA like Numeric Map must be.
The Bible's Number 99 -- Related to 29 and 92 about the last things that will occur before the final judgment.
-top of page-The Bible's Number 100 -- A number of Totality (Josephus)-related to 10 and the ends of things.
The Bible's Number 111 -- Trinity, things set apart, and things counted - Seems very often related to the trinity -- father/son/spirit but also seen in lists of things. Number one is about God and 1-1-1 appears many times to be about the three aspects of God or what we refer to as the trinity.
111 and the Trinity..
There is ongoing debate and questions regarding the concept of the trinity;
where it is most clearly seen in the BIble; and even if it is
a valid concept. The symbolic theme of the Bible's number 111 and
supporting evidence for it may not solve the question, but it certainly
adds more information to be studied. Look for the evidence in the examples
for 111 below. Just FYI, the best evidence I know
of for the trinity is in the the ten "I am" statements in John.
Scholars compress the first three of these statements into one and
call them the 7 or 8 "I Am" statements, but I contend they
are evidence of the Trinity and
that the Bible's Redemption Pattern confirms this -- but that's for another
discussion. To research this suggestion for the trinity, see
John 6:35 "I
am the bread of life"; John 6:41 "I
am the
bread that came down out of heaven."; and John 6:51 "I
am the living bread that came down out of heaven".
In this example for 111 I provide a longer list of verses for those who like to discover for themselves the preponderance of evidence for a number theme. The verse references below are related to 111 and 1:11 and often strikingly reveal the themes related to number one. In the examples, look for evidence of the trinity (111); for lists of three things; and for verses counting or singling out instances of things. Note that my highlighting is just my opinion because the examples seem to have multiple ways you can observe the pattern:

The Bible's Number 500 -- See number 50 regarding Jubilee and 500th chapter which is Psalm 22 - Jesus on the cross--his death creating a jubilee for us--the forgiveness of sins to all who call on the holy name of Jesus.
-top of page/page index-The Bible's Number 666 -- Most often speaks of affliction and sin but also represents the opposite -- The best evidence for the relationship of #666 to sin and evil is in Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.
To better understand the number 666 consider the foundational number of six which is a number about man's sin and our need to repent or turn from it. Number six is a number of crossing over from sin to salvation which is symbolic of our turning from sin and back to God. In the book of Joshua, the 6th book of the Bible, Joshua (name means Jesus) leads Israel out of their wandering into the promised land by crossing over the river Jordan. Crossing over is a good way to visualize number six being sin and turning away from it. In Genesis chapter six the Lord was sorry he made man and brought on the flood which Noah and his family crossed over. Baby Moses escaped death by crossing the Nile in a basket (ark), and Jesus walked on water in both Mark 6 and John 6. After Joshua led the people into the promised land they were tasked with ridding it of strongholds of sin. Number six is about sin and our need for redemption and #666 is about ultimate sin.
Evidences for the theme of #666 can be seen in; Judges 6:11, The
6,666th Bible verse where Gideon was "beating out wheat" to
save is from "sin"
- verse reference multiplies to #66 and says "...the
angel of the LORD came ... Gideon was beating out wheat in the
wine press in order to save it from the Midianites";
2Thessolonians 2:4, the 29,666th verse of the Bible tells of the abomination
of satan who sat in the temple declaring he is god - it says "who
opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship,
so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying
himself as being God". Isaiah 66:6 (666) tells of the
LORD"...rendering
recompense to His enemies" and John 6:66 (666) tells about
the disciples that fell away from Jesus because of his difficult teaching
- "As
a result of this many
of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore". There
are also many other such 666 number related verses.
Number 36 also is a way of representing #666 when you realize it is
a way of expressing three sixes (6,6,6). The best example of
this is Genesis 3:6 (36) which is the verse of original sin - "When
the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight
to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she
took from its fruit and ate...". The 6661st Bible verse
fits both #666 and #36 and reflects the sin that afflicted Israel
- Judg 6:6 (6x6=36) "...Israel
was brought very low because of Midian, and the sons of Israel cried
to the LORD".
There is an abundance of evidence in the Bible's text showing the relationship
of #666 to sin and evil. Like every number, it can be found with both
positive and negative themes but seems most often to be related to
sin. To investigate the number six, examine various chapter sixes in
the Bible which are most often clearly about sin, redemption, confession,
sacrifices and other other aspects of sin.
Example chapter is Isaiah chapter 21, the 700th chapter of the Bible
- Isa 21:7 "When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, A train of donkeys,
a train of camels, Let him pay close attention, very close attention."
The Bible's Number 777
-- A number relating to salvation, sanctification, holiness
and being made spiritually clean - Jesus told his disciples to
not only forgive seven times but seventy times seven which helps us see
the relationship to forgiveness to the the number 777 because there
are three sevens found in this one verse -- Matt 18:22 Jesus
*said to him, "I
do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

living creatures...do not cease to say, "HOLY,
HOLY, HOLY {is} THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO
IS TO COME."
777 ---Mount Moriah and Mount Zion
An example of God's theme for
number 777 even being found on earth is the elevation of Mount Moriah
which is 777 meters (ref Goggle Earth to confirm for yourself-search
for the Moriah Hotel in Jerusalem and look at the bottom of the display
for elevation. Must have "terrain" option
selected.).
The Bible's 14, 637th verse confirms the elevation of this mountain is
beautiful--Psalm 48:2 Beautiful in elevation, the
joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion in the far north, The city
of the great King".
Note the cross bible verse number
of this verse (14637) ends in the number 37 which is
another way of expressing 777 (three sevens). It is no coincidence
that you will find the name "Mount Zion" occurs 21
times in the
Bible (21=3x7).
The Bible's numeric map confirms this theme; The Bible's 7777th verse
is where David gets the bread only intended for the priests--made clean
-- 1Sam 21:4 The priest answered David
and said, "There
is no ordinary bread on hand, but there is consecrated bread;
if only the young men have kept themselves from women.";
In the Bible's 17,777th verse we are taken to when Samuel the prophet
was cleansed by God -- Isa 6:7 He touched
my mouth {with it} and said, "Behold,
this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and
your sin is forgiven."; And in the Bible's 27,777th
verse we see a different type of cleansing where Paul was taken from
the priests and out of the temple because he was said to be desecrating
the temple (making it unclean) Acts 24:7 "But
Lysias the commander came along, and with much violence took him
out of our hands". Note how the verse references
of these three examples all have a relationship to 7 or 777. These
are the only three Bible verses with cross Bible verse numbers containing
the number 7777. Another of the most compelling examples of the Bible's
perfection seen in the Numeric Map.
Notes for #777
- Isa 6:3 is the 17773rd Bible verse -- a number containing both 777
and 37 -- And one called out to another
and said, "Holy,
Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory."
- Rev 4:8 is the 30,777th Bible verse. Thirty is a number for purity and 777 for Holiness -- And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME."
- Gen 12:8 is the 307th Bible verse (37) and speaks of the mountain
of God -- Then he proceeded from there
to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, with
Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar
to the LORD and called upon the name of the LORD.
- The word "flood" occurs 37 times in the
Bible - 777. The flood cleansed the earth. Another verse strongly relating
the number 77 and the flood is Gen 7:17 which is the 177th verse of
the Bible -- "Then the flood came
upon the earth for forty days, and
the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the
earth".
- The word "holiness" is found 21 times in the Bible - 3x7=21. An occurrence suggesting it's relationship to the number 777.
- Mount Zion/Mount Moriah is 777 meters in elevation--the place of Jesus crucifixion. The elevation would seem to confirm this.
- The name "Mount Zion " is found 21 times in the Bible - 3x7=21
- The word "jubilee" which is a name of joy for the forgiving of debts (#50) is found 21 times in the Bible - 3x7=21
- The word "virgins" is found 21 times in the Bible - 3x7=21
- The number "five hundred" is found 21 times in the Bible - a number for Jubilee. Psalms 22 is the 500th chapter of the Bible and is Jesus speaking from the cross where he was completing the act of redemption for our sins.
- The number "three hundred" is found 21 times in the Bible. This corresponds to the number 30 which is about holiness and righteousness of God (3rd book is Leviticus). 300 is 10 times 30 which can be seen as an order of magnitude of even more holiness and perfection.
- Other words that occur 21 times are "bride", "A righteous man", "Anointing Oil", "breastpiece", "eighth day" (the remnant saved), "deliverance",...and many more.
The Bible's Number 888 -- The number for Jesus. One evidence for this is that the value for the letters of the name "Jesus" in greek adds to 888. TBD -- see also number 38/83
The Bible's Number 911 -- God's warning number (#11) of consequences and calamity to nations that turn from the Lord. The best example passage supporting this verse is Daniel chapter nine verse eleven that speaks to this very subject
-top of page-The Bible's Number 999
--Just before the end (rapture, catching up, the day of the Lord--A
number related to the last days, end times and other ends of major
events or lists. In Matthew
24 verse 41 we see the catching up of the saints (Rapture) spoken of
in the 23,999th verse. The 24,000th verse is about "the Day of the
Lord" (24 hours in a day) and to be on the alert for that day -- Matthew
24:41 "Two
women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will
be left. The verse number of 41 is related to the number 14
which is a number for Jesus the King and redeemer. This 999th verse
seems to be indicating the Rapture is immediately before The Day of
the Lord and is evidence for the relationship of the number 999 to
last things.
Matthew 24:40 and 41 are the 23,998 and 23,999th verses suggesting
the catching up of the godly (rapture) and this pattern is again seen
in Revelation 18:4-5 which are the 30,998th and 30,999th verses --
Rev 18:4 I heard another voice from heaven,
saying, "Come out
of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and
receive of her plagues; v5 for her sins have piled up as high
as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. The following
verses speak of the judgments on the way -- Rev 18:6 "Pay her
back even as she has paid, and give back {to her} double according
to her deeds; in the cup which she has mixed, mix twice as much for
her.
There's lots of evidence for the 999 theme of end times. One more interesting
fact - Matthew 24, the chapter about the coming "day of the Lord" is
the Bible's 953rd chapter. Notice the references to both the numbers
93 and 53. Ninety three is another way of expressing 999 which points
to the day of the Lord, and number 53 relates to the catching up or
taking up of the Godly. The most compelling occurrence of number 53
in the Bible is where the 153 fish were lifted up in the net without
it breaking which is symbolic of the people who will be taken to heaven.
None of the Godly will be lost. -- John 21:11 Simon
Peter went up and drew the net to land, full of large fish, a hundred
and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not torn. (See
also #53).
The Bible's Number 1000 -- Josephus said the number one-thousand was God's number of perfection. This seems confirmed in many places, but especially in John chapter 3 which is the most well known and key chapter of the Bible -- John 3:16 "For God so loved the World...". This key chapter finds itself as precisely the 1,000th chapter of the Bible. The perfect chapter in the perfect position.
The Bible's Number 1776 -- See number 76 and 67. Relate to independence for the United States of America - USA - on July 4th, 1776 (7/4/1776). 17 is a number for being lifted up.
