Correction to Page 12--re: Matthew 23:37...

The following paragraph was left in the book in error. Below is an explanation of what I had written and then pulled from this section of the book:

Shortly before His crucifixion Jesus lamented, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling” (Matthew 23:37). Do you see the amazing connections here?

This paragraph was intended to be edited out of this location because I had not fully developed the concept of cross Bible verse numbers yet. You will find a related mention of this verse at the bottom of page 177.

Since I aluded to it I thought I would explain my mention of Matthew 23:37…

"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.

The subject on page 12 is that number 22 relates to the aspect of Jesus which is the suffering servant and 14 relates to the aspect of Jesus the King or redeemer. I was explaining the relationship between the statement Jesus made about gathering us under his wings in Matthew 23:37, and how it seems a reference to the same picture presented of the Cherubim in Exodus 25:18 (if this is true, what does it suggest about the Cherubim?). The verse at Exodus 25:18 is the 2214th (22 and 14) verse of the Bible where God (Jesus) says to make two Cherubim, one for each end of the Mercy Seat.

Exo 25:18 "You shall make two cherubim of gold, make them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat. < < < = = (2214th verse)
Exo 25:19 "Make one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim {of one piece} with the mercy seat at its two ends.
Exo 25:20 "The cherubim shall have {their} wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings and facing one another; the faces of the cherubim are to be {turned} toward the mercy seat.
Exo 25:21 "You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you.
Exo 25:22 "There I will meet with you; and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about all that I will give you in commandment for the sons of Israel.

I don't think it is coincidence that both the numbers for Jesus are associated with this verse number and that there are two things referenced in this verse associated with the Mercy Seat. Exactly how all this fits together I can't explain but it sure makes you wonder. It seems the Cherubim each relate to an aspect of Jesus or to Jesus himself.

Interesting and also related with the same 2200 set of verses-- note that Exodus 25:22 (22) is where Jesus says he will meet with us from above the Mercy Seat. Again, no coincidence that it is verse 22.

Even more---Another interesting verse is Exodus 25:4 which is the 2200th verse and names the colors and things associated with Jesus which the offerings (for sin) are to be made into. The number 2200 is one hundred times 22 and with one hundred being a number of totality (Josephus), it makes 2200 a hyper strong verse associated with Jesus. I know this gets confusing but there are so many fascinating numbers associated so many verses--forgive me if I have lost you in details. Related to the offering for sin, the previous and 2199th verse and the 666th (sin) verse of Exodus is 25:3 which explains an offering is to be made and begins the list. So we see the verse associated with offerings for sin is also associated with the number for sin which is 666.

If I have not confused you enough, it is interesting to note this is chapter 25 and 25 is a number related to the appearances of Jesus the redeemer. Consistent with this being chapter 25, it is about preparing for Jesus to return and take his place (appear) above the Mercy Seat.
